Welcome to the home of the Mini Beach Blades Synchronized Skating Teams! We are an organization of competitive synchronized skating teams, coached by Head Coaches DJ and Sarah and Assistant Coach Bella. We skate at Iceland of Hampton Roads in Virginia Beach. We had two teams this past season (2024-2025), Aspire 1 and Preliminary! Next season, we will have at least one Aspire team and a Pre-Juvenile team!
We will be holding a Synchro Clinic on Saturday mornings at Iceland starting March 8th from 8:15-9:15am to teach skaters about the sport of synchronized skating, as well as to prepare our IJS skaters for the new season. Please sign up at Iceland!
Pre-Juvenile tryouts are being held at Iceland on May 10th at 7:30am for $40! This tryout is open to any skater who has passed the Pre-Bronze (Pre-Juvenile) Skating Skills test and is up to the age of 17! Come join our competitive IJS team!
Aspire tryouts will be held at Iceland on June 7th at 8:15am for $30! Registration will be open soon! This tryout is open to any skater in Freestyle one and above, but must not have passed Pre-Bronze Skating Skills, up to the age of 17. If your skater is not in freestyle yet, please still reach out to us for more information and for a possible meeting/evaluation before tryouts!
